"Integrative methods in Structural Biology to enhance high impact research in health and disease"
Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Latin America Science & Innovation Fund (British Council), a workshop on the above theme will take place at the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo (Uruguay) on 16th to 19th of February 2016.
The workshop is being coordinated by the University of Oxford, Instruct, the Institut Pasteur de Montevideo and CeBEM, and will have contributions from several leading researchers: Prof Dave Stuart (University of Oxford), Prof Alberto Podjarny (Instruct), Prof Jose Maria Carazo (Instruct), Dr Chuck Farah (CeBEM), Dr Alejandro Vila (CeBEM) and Dr Alejandro Buschiazzo (Institut Pasteur de Montevideo), among others.
The main purpose of the activity is to discuss and follow hands-on training in the combination of orthogonal approaches in modern Structural Biology, particularly bringing in cryo-electron microscopy into the field, to be complemented by Rx diffraction, NMR, and other methods.
We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Uruguay to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
To apply please fill out the form that is hereby attached, and send it to secretaria@pasteur.edu.uy before the deadline of 31st of December 2015.
Please be brief in the application, if you have any questions on how to fill the form send us a message to secretaria@pasteur.edu.uy or admin@structuralbiology.eu
